Palmeiras beat Jacuipense, 1-4, on Wednesday, in a match relating of the Brazil Cup. Abel Ferreira's team beat Rodrigo Ribeiro's team, 3-0, in the first leg of the tie.
The first goal of the game was scored by Maurício, with a left-foot shot, with 23 minutes on the clock. After 24 minutes, Felipe Anderson fired home Palmeiras second goal, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area. In the 37th minute, Abel Ferreira's team extended their lead with a goal from Erick Belé with a left-foot shot inside the box.
With 53 minutes on the clock, Luighi doubled the lead for Palmeiras, from the penalty spot. Vicente Ferreira netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game with a right-foot shot.
With this result, Palmeiras are into the next round of the competition.
