The PSV announced on Thursday the signing of Alassane Pléa. After seven seasons with Borussia M´gladbach, the seasoned French forward is heading to a new league and has signed a contract through June 2028.
«I am looking forward to meeting my teammates. When I heard of PSV's interest through my agent, I immediately said 'yes' to the project. I am well acquainted with the coach [Peter Bosz], and I like his philosophy and style of play. Overall, it's a great match,» he stated, as reported by the club's official media.
The French international, who has been capped once, Alassane Pléa began his football career in France, notably through the youth ranks of Lyon. He also had stints at Auxerre and Nice, before moving to the Bundesliga with Borussia M´gladbach.
Last season, the 32-year-old forward played in 32 matches for the Fohlen, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.
