Blackburn Rovers overcame Reading, 1-4, on Sunday, in a game related to matchweek 20 of Women´s Championship. In this competition, Dan Logue's team came from three defeats, and Simon Parker's team came from a win. Megan Hornby made a tremendous game.
The first goal of the game was scored by Keira Flannery, in the 16th minute. After 43 minutes, Megan Hornby fired home for Blackburn Rovers. With 45 minutes already played, Hannah Coan fired home Simon Parker's team second goal.
With 70 minutes on the clock, Blackburn Rovers extended their lead with a goal from Lucy Shepherd. In the 86th minute, Megan Hornby wrapped things up.
After the result Blackburn Rovers are 7th in the table, with 29 points, while Reading sit 10th place, with 18 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Simon Parker's team will play at home against Reading.
