Ana Carolina Ferreira, Maria Rodrigues, Cristiana Martins, Luiza Jesus and Madison Wolfbauer will join the squad led by João Marques for the 2025/26 season.
The first arrives in Vila do Conde after a season representing Valadares Gaia, while Maria Rodrigues and Cristiana Martins come from Clube de Albergaria. The penultimate, a 30-year-old goalkeeper, wore the jersey of Vilaverdense in the second half of last season.
Madison Wolfbauer, hailing from the United States, is a central defender. Thus, gradually, the Rio Ave squad is becoming increasingly well-rounded for the BPI League challenge.
