        Strasbourg celebrate narrow win over Brest

        Strasbourg beat Brest in a close win on Wednesday, 1-2, relating to matchweek 29 of the Ligue 1. Coming into the contest, Éric Roy's team came from two defeats, and Gary O’Neil's team came from a draw.

        The opening goal was scored by Valentín Barco after nine minutes, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty area. After 13 minutes, Ludovic Ajorque struck for Brest, through a header inside the box. Sebastian Nanasi scored the winning goal with 20 minutes on the clock through a header.

        After the result Strasbourg are 8th in the table, with 46 points, while Brest sit 11th place, with 36 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Gary O’Neil's team will host Monaco. Meanwhile, Éric Roy's team will play at home against Angers.
