Thomas Tuchel has signed a two-year extension with the England national team, ensuring he remains at the helm until Euro 2028.
The German coach originally signed an 18-month contract at the close of 2024 and took charge of his first match in March 2025, securing a 2-0 victory against Albania. Following this, the Three Lions flawlessly qualified for the 2026 World Cup, winning all their matches.
Tuchel has now committed to leading England through Euro 2028, which will be held across England, Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland.
This agreement also puts an end to rumors about Tuchel's potential return to club management this summer, despite previous links to the Manchester United position.
Under Tuchel's guidance, England has played ten matches, winning nine and only losing one friendly match against Senegal in June.
