Tigres humbled by Toluca

Toluca defeated Tigres in a close win on Sunday, 1-2, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the Mexicana Clausura Feminino. Patrice Lair's team beat Pedro Martínez's team, 2-1, in the first leg of the tie.

The first goal of the game was scored by Diana Guatemala, in the 29th minute.

Toluca scored their second goal of the game through Faustine Robert, with 52 minutes on the clock. Diana Ordoñez netted the last goal after 80 minutes. Diana Ordoñez now on a scoring streak of 5 consecutive games.

Thanks to this result, Toluca are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Patrice Lair's team will play at home against Club América.
