Torreense announced on Thursday a new addition to the team. Layla Shell, a 21-year-old American defender, joins Torres Vedras after playing for the Brown Bears in U.S. college soccer.
The young player adds options to the defensive line at a crucial time of the season, coinciding with Jesi Rossman's departure from the squad.
After securing the signing of goalkeeper Rute Costa - who recently left Benfica - the Torres Vedras emblem thus ensures its second reinforcement in the winter market, at a time when it holds the third position in the Liga BPI.
