      Cavalry FC move on to the next round of Canadian Premier League

      Cavalry FC overcame Pacific FC in a win on Saturday, 1-3, in a match relating of the Canadian Premier League. Both James Merriman's team and Tommy Wheeldon Jr.'s team held their first game in the competition.

      Daan Klomp opened the score with 24 minutes on the clock.

      After 78 minutes, Josh Belluz struck for Pacific FC. In the final minutes of the game, Tobias Warschewski scored the second goal for Cavalry FC, from the penalty spot. Deep into added time, Michael Baldisimo wrapped things up.

      With this result, Cavalry FC are through to the next round of the competition.
