Univ. Católica eased past Univ. Concepción, 5-1, on Sunday, relating to matchweek 15 of the Liga Chilena. Coming into the contest, Daniel Garnero's team came from a win, and Univ. Concepción came from two draws. Fernando Zampedri made a tremendous game.

After seeing his second yellow card in the closing stages of the game, Leonel González was sent off and left Univ. Concepción with 10-man.
After the result Univ. Católica are 2nd in the table, with 26 points, while Univ. Concepción sit 10th place, with 19 points. Next up, Daniel Garnero's team will play at home against La Serena, while Univ. Concepción will play away against Coquimbo Unido.
