Huddersfield Town and Leicester City drew 2-2 in a match on Wednesday, in a match relating of the EFL League Cup. Both Lee Grant's team and Martí Cifuentes's team held their first game in the competition.

The first goal was scored by Hamza Choudhury after 54 minutes. With 65 minutes on the clock, Daniel Vost fired home for Huddersfield Town. In the 65th minute, Dion Charles missed the spot-kick. After 68 minutes, Harry Winks struck the second goal for Leicester City. With 76 minutes on the clock, Cameron Ashia wrapped things up.
Thanks to this result, Huddersfield Town are through to the next round of the competition. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Lee Grant's team will play away against Sunderland.
