      Japan beat Bahrain

      Japan defeated Bahrain, 2-0, on Thursday, in a match relating to the Grp.C of the World Cup Qualifiers (AFC).

      The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

      The opening goal was scored by Daichi Kamada after 66 minutes. Takefusa Kubo netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game.

      In relation to forthcoming league matches, Japan will host Saudi-Arabia. Meanwhile, Bahrain visit Indonesia.
