John Brooks, former Benfica player, is back home

The club announced this Thursday that John Brooks is returning to his training club. The American international signed (for free) a contract valid until 2026. He thus leaves Wolfsburg, which a year and a half ago paid 300 thousand euros to Benfica to hire him. He scored two goals in 21 games in the last edition of the Bundesliga. At 31 years old, Brooks will once again wear the jersey of the Berlin emblem. In his first stint at the Olympic, he recorded eight goals and one assist in 130 official games.
