Madrid CFF defeated Granada in a superb win on Tuesday, 3-4, on to matchday 29 of the Women Spanish League. To this matchweek, Irene Ferreras's team came from a defeat, and José Luis Sánchez's team came from a win. Anita Marcos made a tremendous game.
After 38 minutes, Sonya Keefe opened the scoring for Granada. Shortly before the interval, Irene Ferreras's team increased their lead with a goal from forward.
After the break, Granada extended their lead with a goal from Jujuba Cardozo. In the 53rd minute, Anita Marcos struck for Madrid CFF. With 64 minutes on the clock, forward fired home José Luis Sánchez's team second goal, from the penalty spot. After 73 minutes, Anita Marcos fired home for Madrid CFF. Forward completed the four-goal haul, in the 85th minute. In the final minutes of the game, Irene Ferreras's team saw Cristina Postigo get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.
After the result Granada are 6th in the table, with 45 points, while Madrid CFF sit 9th place, with 37 points. Next up, José Luis Sánchez's team will play at home against Barcelona, whilst Irene Ferreras's team visit Real Madrid.
