Marc ter Stegen continues to battle injuries. This Tuesday, FC Barcelona announced that the German goalkeeper has successfully undergone surgery for issues in the lower back area and is now in recovery.
Last Thursday, ter Stegen disclosed that he would need to undergo surgery again, and it is expected that this break from play will last about three months, following a previous downtime from September to May.
It's worth noting that last season, the German only played in nine games due to a severe knee injury. Wojciech Szczesny ended up being the most utilized goalkeeper of the season.
