Motagua defeated Choloma in a fantastic win on Sunday, 5-1, relating to matchweek 21 of the Honduras Clausura. Coming into the contest, Javier López's team came from a draw, and Roberto Padilla's team came from a defeat. Rodrigo de Olivera runned the show.
The opening goal was scored by Cristopher Meléndez after 21 minutes. In the 32nd minute, Motagua extended their lead with a goal from John Kleber. After 39 minutes, Marco Aceituno struck for Choloma. Shortly before the interval, Javier López's team increased their lead with a goal from Jhen Portillo.
With 66 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo de Olivera doubled the lead for Motagua. After 78 minutes, forward scored the last goal of the match.
