Valur triumphed over Breidablik in a close win on Sunday, 3-2, on matchweek seven. In this competition, Hermann Hreidarsson's team came from two defeats, and Ólafur Skúlason's team came from a draw.
Adam Pálsson opened the score after 17 minutes.
In the 55th minute, Ágúst Thorsteinsson struck for Breidablik. With 80 minutes on the clock, Aron Bjarnason fired home Ólafur Skúlason's team second goal. After 84 minutes, Ingimar Stole scored the second goal for Valur. In a very unlucky moment, Ívar Árnason scored an own-goal in stoppage time.
