      Atlético Mineiro defeat Ceará on penalties

      Ceará overcame Atlético Mineiro, 2-1, on Wednesday, in a match relating of the Brazil Cup. Eduardo Domínguez's team beat Mozart's team, 2-1, in the first leg of the tie.

      After four minutes, Atlético Mineiro saw Mamady Cissé get a straight red card in the 8th minute, Alex Silva opened the scoring for Ceará, from the penalty spot. In a very unlucky moment, Éverson scored an own-goal with 23 minutes on the clock.

      Kauã Pascini netted the last goal in the final minutes of the game with a left-foot strike inside the box.

      With this result, Atlético Mineiro are into the next round of the competition.
