West Ham United have announced the signing of Callum Wilson on a one-year deal.
The 33-year-old left Newcastle United after his contract ended, following five years with the Magpies where he scored 49 goals in 130 appearances for the club.
The former Bournemouth player is now set to strengthen Graham Potter's team for the 2025/26 season.
"I'm thrilled to join a major soccer club like West Ham," Wilson commented upon his arrival. "This is a club that embodies the same values I hold dear: hard work, commitment, and the pursuit of success. I'm eager to contribute to our goals.
"I'm ready for the challenge. The team is packed with talent. With the coach now uniting everyone towards a common goal, we aim to achieve the best possible results in the league, which is what our fans, our team, and our squad's caliber truly deserve."
Wilson is the third new addition to West Ham this summer, following the signings of El Hadji Malick Diouf and Kyle Walker-Peters.
