Lille progress despite the defeat

Slavia Praha overcame Lille in a close win on Wednesday, 2-1, in a match relating of the Champions League [Qualification]. Bruno Génésio's team beat Jindrich Trpisovsky's team, 2-0, in the first leg of the tie.

The opening goal was scored by Christos Zafeiris after 5 minutes, with a left-foot shot inside the penalty area.

In the 77th minute, Edon Zhegrova struck for Lille, with a left-foot strike from outside the penalty box. Ivan Schranz netted the last goal with 84 minutes on the clock with a left-foot shot inside the box.

With this result, Lille are through to the next round of the competition.
