Celtic defeated Rangers, 3-0, on Sunday, in a game relating to matchweek 4. Coming into the contest, Brendan Rodgers's team came from three wins, and Philippe Clément's team came from two wins. In the starting XI there was Carter-Vickers. Auston Trusty didn't leave the bench.
The first goal of the game was scored by Daizen Maeda, after 17 minutes. With 40 minutes on the clock, Celtic extended their lead with a goal from Kyogo Furuhashi.
Callum McGregor netted the last goal after 75 minutes.
After the result Celtic are 1st in the table, with 12 points, while Rangers sit 4th place, with 7 points. With regard to the next fixture, Brendan Rodgers's team will play at home against Hearts, whilst Philippe Clément's team will play away against Dundee United.
