      West Ham beat Everton in close encounter

      West Ham triumphed over Everton in a close win on Saturday, 2-1, on to matchday 34 of the Premier League . In this competition, Nuno Espírito Santo's team came from a draw, and David Moyes's team came from a defeat.

      The first-half ended with a goalless draw.

      Tomás Soucek opened the score with 51 minutes on the clock, from a corner. In the closing stages of the game, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall struck for Everton, with a left-foot shot inside the box. Callum Wilson scored the winning goal deep into added time with a right-foot strike.

      After the result Everton are 11th in the table, with 47 points, while West Ham sit 17th place, with 36 points. In the next fixture, Nuno Espírito Santo's team visit Brentford, while David Moyes's team will play at home against Manchester City.
