Newcastle overcame Norwich City, 4x3, on Monday, in a match relating of the U23 Premier League. Finley Welch was the man of the match.
The opening goal was scored by Ryan Fraser with 15 minutes on the clock. After 22 minutes, Harrison Ashby doubled the lead for Newcastle. In the 27th minute, Ben Dawson's team extended their lead with a goal from Amadou Diallo. With 33 minutes on the clock, Finley Welch struck for Norwich City. After 45 minutes, Abu Kamara scored the second goal for Alan Neilson's team, from the penalty spot. In the 48th minute, Finley Welch fired home for Norwich City. Lewis Miley netted the last goal in the 77th minute.
In the next fixture, Newcastle visit Derby County, while Norwich City will host Southampton.
