Pogon Szczecin triumphed over Linfield, 2x5, on Thursday, in a match relating of the Europa Conference League [Qualifiers]. Both David Healy's team and Jens Gustafsson's team held their first game in the competition.
Kamil Grosicki opened the score after 14 minutes, from the penalty spot. Pogon Szczecin scored their second goal of the game through João Gamboa, with 40 minutes on the clock.
After 55 minutes, Danny Finlayson struck for Linfield. In the 63rd minute, Jens Gustafsson's team increased their lead with a goal from Mariusz Malec. After 66 minutes, Efthymios Koulouris doubled the lead for Pogon Szczecin. After 80 minutes, Ben Hall struck the second goal for David Healy's team. Mariusz Fornalczyk netted the last goal deep into added time.
In relation to forthcoming league matches, Pogon Szczecin will host Linfield.
