Le Havre edged out Caen in a close win on Sunday, 2x1, in a match relating of the French Cup. Both Luka Elsner's team and Nicolas Seube's team held their first game in the competition.
The first goal of the game was scored by Antoine Joujou, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box, in the 16th minute. With 26 minutes on the clock, Godson Kyeremeh fired home for Caen, with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area. Daler Kuzyaev scored the winner shortly before the interval with a left-foot shot.
Thanks to this result, Le Havre are through to the next round of the competition. In the next fixture, Luka Elsner's team visit Châteauroux.
