Newcastle triumphed over Liverpool in a very competitive win on Tuesday, 4-3, on to matchday 8 of the U18 Premier League. Coming into the contest, Graeme Carrick's team came from two defeats, and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's team came from a draw. Josh Donaldson with a superb display.

Liverpool scored their second goal of the game through Trent Kone-Doherty, with 62 minutes on the clock, from the penalty spot. In the 71st minute, Logan Watts left the game early after seeing a red card. After 74 minutes, Ollie O´Connor fired home for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's team. In a very unlucky moment, Tyler Martin scored an own-goal after 77 minutes. With 90 minutes already on the clock, Matthew Taylor scored the last goal of the match.
After the result Liverpool are 3rd in the table, with 15 points, while Newcastle sit 4th place, with 13 points. In the next fixture, Graeme Carrick's team will play away against Wolverhampton, while Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's team will play away against Sunderland.
