Washington Spirit beat Racing Louisville FC, 1-2, on Friday, in a match relating of the NWSL.
The first goal was scored by Croix Bethune after 5 minutes. With 26 minutes on the clock, Savannah DeMelo had a golden opportunity on his feet to score but missed a penalty. In a very unlucky moment, Lauren Milliet scored an own-goal after 34 minutes. Savannah DeMelo netted the last goal shortly before the interval.
In relation to forthcoming league matches, Washington Spirit will play at home against Angel City FC, whilst Racing Louisville FC will play away against Kansas City .
