Farul edged out CFR Cluj in a fantastic win on Friday, 5-1, in a game related to matchweek 5 of Romanian League. To this matchweek, Gheorghe Hagi's team came from a win, and Francisc Dican's team came from a defeat. Ionut Cojocaru with a superb display.
The first goal was scored by Louis Munteanu after 22 minutes. Shortly before the interval, Ionut Cojocaru doubled the lead for Farul.
In the 67th minute, Gheorghe Hagi's team increased their lead with a goal from Dina Grameni. After 76 minutes, Philip Otele fired home for CFR Cluj. After 78 minutes, Farul extended their lead with a goal from Ionut Cojocaru. With 83 minutes on the clock, Cristian Ganea netted the final goal of the game.
. With regard to the next fixture, Farul will host Rapid Bucuresti, whilst CFR Cluj visit CS Universitatea Craiova.
