FC Cincinnati edged out SJ Earthquakes in a superb win on Saturday, 6x0, in a game relating to matchweek 3. To this matchweek, Pat Noonan's team came from a draw, and Alex Covelo's team came from a win. Brenner was the man of the match.
The opening goal was scored by Álvaro Barreal shortly before the interval.
FC Cincinnati scored their second goal of the game through Brenner, after the break, laid on by Brandon Vázquez. After 71 minutes, Pat Noonan's team increased their lead with a goal from Luciano Acosta from the penalty spot. In the 77th minute, Yuya Kubo doubled the lead for Cincinnati's team. In the final minutes of the game, FC Cincinnati extended their lead with a goal from Brenner. After 90 minutes, forward completed the hat-trick, from the penalty spot. With this goal, forward recorded his twelve goal this season.
