      Marseille beat Ajax

      Marseille triumphed over Ajax in a close win on Thursday, 4x3, in a match relating to the Grp.B of the Europa League. Pierre Aubameyang was the main player.

      The first goal was scored by Pierre Aubameyang with 9 minutes on the clock, from the penalty spot. After 10 minutes, Brian Brobbey fired home for Ajax. In the 26th minute, Chancel Mbemba fired home Marseille second goal. After 30 minutes, Brian Brobbey struck the second goal for John van´t Schip's team.

      After the break, Pierre Aubameyang struck for Gennaro Gattuso's team. With 63 minutes on the clock, Steven Berghuis left the game early after seeing a red card. With 79 minutes on the clock, Chuba Akpom fired home for Ajax. Pierre Aubameyang completed the hat-trick, from the penalty spot, deep into added time.

      In the next fixture, Marseille will play away against Brighton & Hove Albion. Meanwhile, Ajax will play at home against AEK.
