PSM Makassar beat PSS Sleman in close encounter

PSM Makassar triumphed over PSS Sleman, 2-1, on Friday, on matchweek 28. In this competition, both teams came from a defeat.

The first half came to an end without goals.

The first goal of the game was scored by Yuran Fernandes, after the break. After 65 minutes, PSM Makassar extended their lead with a goal from Kenzo Nambu. In a very unlucky moment, Erwin Gutawa scored an own-goal in the 85th minute. In the closing stages of the game, Bernardo Tavares's team saw Muhammad Ardiansyah get sent off due to accumulation of yellows.

After the result PSM Makassar are 9th in the table, with 37 points, while PSS Sleman sit 15th place, with 31 points. In relation to forthcoming league matches, Bernardo Tavares's team visit Barito Putera. Meanwhile, Risto Vidakovic's team will host Borneo Samarinda.
