FK Riteriai triumphed over Derry City in a close win on Tuesday, 3x2, relating to matchweek 1 of the Europa League [Qualification]. Both Vilnius's team and Derry's team held their first game in the competition. Gytis Paulauskas was the man of the match.
Joseph Thomson opened the score after 18 minutes. With 39 minutes on the clock, Gytis Paulauskas struck for FK Riteriai.
In the 49th minute, forward struck the second goal for Tommi Pikkarainen's team. Derry City scored their second goal of the game through Eoin Toal, after 63 minutes.
