Sanfrecce Hiroshima edge past Gamba Osaka

Sanfrecce Hiroshima overcame Gamba Osaka in a close win on Wednesday, 1x2, on matchweek 20. Coming into the contest, Tsuneyasu Miyamoto's team came from a defeat, and Hiroshi Jofuku's team came from a draw.

The first goal was scored by Sho Sasaki after 36 minutes. In an unlucky moment Keisuke Osako scored an own goal in the 44th minute.

Hayao Kawabe scored the winning goal with 65 minutes on the clock.

After the result Sanfrecce Hiroshima are 9th in the table, with 29 points, while Gamba Osaka sit 13th place, with 23 points. In the next fixture, Hiroshi Jofuku's team will host Tokushima Vortis, whilst Tsuneyasu Miyamoto's team will play at home against Urawa Reds.
