Israel run out winners versus Faroe Islands

Israel defeated Faroe Islands in a close win on Monday, 3x2, on matchweek 10. To this matchweek, Willi Ruttensteiner's team came from a defeat, and Faroe Islands's national team came from three defeats.

The first goal of the game was scored by Moanes Dabbur, from the penalty spot, after 30 minutes.

In the 58th minute, Shon Weissman fired home Israel second goal. With 62 minutes on the clock, Solvi Vatnhamar struck for Faroe Islands, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty area. After 72 minutes, Klaemint Olsen struck the second goal for Håkan Ericson's team, through a header inside the box. Dor Peretz scored the winner after 74 minutes with a right-foot strike inside the penalty area.

After the result Israel are 3rd in the table, with 16 points, while Faroe Islands sit 5th place, with 4 points.
