Despite the draw, Coritiba beat Athletico Paranaense

Coritiba and Athletico Paranaense drew 1x1 in a match on Sunday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the Paranaense.

The first goal was scored by Alef Manga after 36 minutes, with a right-foot strike. With his 5th goal of the season.

In the 53rd minute, Coritiba saw Willian Farias get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. Pablo netted the last goal after 58 minutes from the penalty spot.

Thanks to this result, Coritiba are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Gustavo Morínigo's team visit Maringá.
