NY Red Bulls move on to the next round of US Open Cup

NY Red Bulls defeated Hartford Athletic in a close win on Tuesday, 1x2, in a match relating of the US Open Cup.

The opening goal was scored by Lewis Morgan after 18 minutes. In the 25th minute, Aaron Long fired home NY Red Bulls second goal.

Conor McGlynn netted the last goal after 51 minutes. In the closing stages of the game, Harrison, NJ's team saw Cristian Cásseres leave the game early with a direct red card.

Thanks to this result, NY Red Bulls are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Gerhard Struber's team visit DC United.
