Al-Ahly move on to the next round of CAF Champions League

Al-Ahly edged out US Monastirienne, 3x0, on Saturday, in a match relating of the CAF Champions League. Marcel Koller's team beat Darko Novic's team, 1x0, in the first leg of the tie. Hamdi Fathi was the main player.

The first goal of the game was scored by Ahmed Abdelkader, with 15 minutes on the clock. After 43 minutes, Al-Ahly increased their lead with a goal from Hamdi Fathi.

Midfielder netted the last goal in the 57th minute.

Thanks to this result, Al-Ahly are through to the next round of the competition.
