Troyes handed lesson by Toulouse

Toulouse defeated Troyes in a win on Wednesday, 4x1, on matchweek 21. Coming into the contest, Philippe Montanier's team came from a win, and Patrick Kisnorbo's team came from a draw. In the starting XI there was Erik Palmer-Brown.

Mama Baldé opened the score in the 12th minute, from the penalty spot. With 16 minutes on the clock, Thijs Dallinga struck for Toulouse. After 36 minutes, Farès Chaïbi fired home Philippe Montanier's team second goal.

In the 55th minute, Toulouse extended their lead with a goal from van den Boomen from the penalty spot. Ado Onaiwu netted the last goal in the closing stages of the game.

After the result Toulouse are 10th in the table, with 29 points, while Troyes sit 15th place, with 19 points. Next up, Philippe Montanier's team will play away against Paris SG, whilst Patrick Kisnorbo's team will play at home against Lyon.
