FC Augsburg edged past SpVgg Greuther Fürth

FC Augsburg triumphed over SpVgg Greuther Fürth in a close win on Saturday, 2x1, on matchweek 34. Before this matchday, Augsburg's team came from two defeats, and Fürth's team came from a defeat. Ricardo Pepi didn't leave the bench.

The first goal of the game was scored by Daniel Caligiuri, from the penalty spot, in the 11th minute.  after 24 minutes, Jessic Ngankam fired home for SpVgg Greuther Fürth, laid on by Tobias Raschl.

Sub Michael Gregoritsch, with 46 minutes on the clock, changed the course of the game. In the 73rd minute, Julian Green came on. Michael Gregoritsch scored the winner in the 85th minute.

After the result FC Augsburg are 14th in the table, with 38 points, while SpVgg Greuther Fürth sit 18th place, with 18 points.
