Gotham FC stumble to defeat against Houston Dash

Houston Dash beat Gotham FC in a close win on Wednesday, 2x1, in a match relating of the NWSL.

The first-half ended without any goals.

Sub Marisa Viggiano, after the break, changed the course of the game. After 58 minutes, Gotham FC saw Margaret Williams-Purce get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. Ebony Salmon opened the score with 73 minutes on the clock. With 76 minutes on the clock, Houston Dash extended their lead with a goal from Marisa Viggiano. McCall Zerboni netted the last goal in the 80th minute.

With regard to the next fixture, Houston Dash will play away against San Diego Wave. Meanwhile, Gotham FC will play at home against Orlando Pride.
