Inter Miami CF get the better of New York City FC

Inter Miami CF beat New York City FC in a close win on Saturday, 3x2, on matchweek 3. In this competition, Miami, FL's team came from a draw, and New York City, NY's team came from a defeat. Alejandro Pozuelo was on fire.

After 34 minutes, Talles Magno opened the scoring for New York City FC, assisted by Maxime Chanot. With 39 minutes on the clock, Alejandro Pozuelo fired home for Inter Miami CF, laid on by Bryce Duke. With 45 minutes already played, Thiago Andrade fired home Nick Cushing's team second goal, assisted by Gabriel Pereira.

Sub Ariel Lassiter, with 58 minutes on the clock, changed the course of the game. Phil Neville's team scored their second goal of the game through forward, after 63 minutes, laid on by Gonzalo Higuaín. Alejandro Pozuelo scored the winning goal in the 84th minute.
