Rosenborg edged out Breidablik in a fantastic win on Thursday, 2x4, in a match relating of the Women Champions League. Both Kópavogur's team and Trondheim's team held their first game in the competition. Emilie Nautnes was on fire.
Early in the game, Emilie Nautnes opened the scoring for Rosenborg. Trondheim's team scored their second goal of the game through Cesilie Andreassen, in the 11th minute, laid on by Selma Magnúsdóttir. After 19 minutes, Emilie Nautnes doubled the lead for Steinar Lein's team.
After the break, forward completed the hat-trick, assisted by Synne Hansen. With this goal, forward reached the landmark of three goals this season. After 67 minutes, Natasha Anasi fired home for Breidablik. After 69 minutes, Helena Hálfdánardóttir wrapped things up.
Thanks to this result, Rosenborg are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Trondheim's team will play away against FC Minsk, whilst Breidablik will host 1. FC Slovácko.
