Madagascar move on to the next round of African Nations Championship (CHAN)

Madagascar edged out Mozambique, 3x1, on Saturday, in a match relating to the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The opening goal was scored by Solo Razafindranaivo in the 18th minute.

After 67 minutes, Madagascar extended their lead with a goal from Yves Razafindrakoto. In the closing stages of the game, Carlos Ravelomanantsoa doubled the lead for Madagascar's national team. Deep into added time, Isac wrapped things up.

With this result, Madagascar are through to the next round of the competition. With regard to the next fixture, Romuald Rakotondrabe's team visit Senegal.
