Columbus Crew get the better of New York City FC

Columbus Crew edged out New York City FC, 3x2, on Saturday, in a game relating to matchweek 3. To this matchweek, Caleb Porter's team came from a defeat, and Nick Cushing's team came from a draw. Lucas Zelarayán was the main player.

In an unlucky moment Jonathan Mensah scored an own goal after 3 minutes. With 20 minutes on the clock, Cucho Hernández fired home for Columbus Crew, laid on by Luis Díaz. Caleb Porter's team scored their second goal of the game through Lucas Zelarayán, after 27 minutes, laid on by Luis Díaz.

In the 64th minute, Gabriel Pereira scored the second goal for New York City FC, assisted by Santiago Rodríguez . After 75 minutes, Lucas Zelarayán netted the final goal of the game.
