UDG Tenerife defeat Sevilla

UDG Tenerife walloped Sevilla, 5-0, on Saturday, in a game relating to matchweek 21. Coming into the contest, José Herrera's team came from a defeat, and Sevilla came from a win. María Estella was the man of the match.

Thaís Ferreira opened the score early in the game. After 24 minutes, UDG Tenerife extended their lead with a goal from Rinsola Babajide. With 39 minutes on the clock, José Herrera's team increased their lead with a goal from María Estella. Shortly before the interval, Jassina Blom doubled the lead for UDG Tenerife.

With 48 minutes on the clock, María Estella scored the last goal of the match.

After the result Sevilla are 7th in the table, with 33 points, while UDG Tenerife sit 9th place, with 24 points. With regard to the next fixture, José Herrera's team will play away against SC Huelva, whilst Sevilla will play at home against Real Sociedad.
