Croatia move on to the next round of UEFA Nations League

Croatia edged out Netherlands, 2x4, on Wednesday, in a match relating to the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League. Both Ronald Koeman's team and Zlatko Dalic's team held their first game in the competition.

The first goal was scored by Donyell Malen in the 34th minute, with a right-foot shot inside the penalty box. With this goal, Donyell Malen recorded his ten goal of the current campaign.

With 55 minutes on the clock, Andrej Kramaric struck for Croatia, from the penalty spot. In the 72nd minute, Mario Pasalic fired home Zlatko Dalic's team second goal, with a left-foot strike inside the box. In time added on, Noa Lang scored the second goal for Netherlands, with a right-foot strike.

In the final minutes of the game, Bruno Petkovic fired home for Croatia's national team, with a right-foot strike from outside the box. In the closing stages of the game, Luka Modric wrapped things up, from the penalty spot.

With this result, Croatia are into the next round of the competition.
