Gil Vicente stumble to defeat against Rio Ave

Rio Ave beat Gil Vicente in a win on Saturday, 3-0, on to matchday 28 of the Primeira Liga. To this matchday, Luís Freire's team came from five draws, and Vítor Campelos's team came from two defeats.

With 30 minutes on the clock, João Teixeira opened the scoring for Rio Ave, with a left-foot strike inside the penalty box. In the 44th minute, Luís Freire's team increased their lead with a goal from Yakubu Aziz from the penalty spot.
