Hutchinson, legend of Canada, ends career after final against United States
Two weeks after confirming his farewell to Besiktas, after ten years with the Turkish emblem, Atiba Hutchinson confirmed, through a video broadcast on social networks, that he will end his career after the final of the Nations League, between Canada and the United States.
It has been 20 wonderful years playing football and representing our country's beautiful jersey. We are now at the point where it is time to end the day and hang up the boots after tomorrow's game (Monday), he introduced.
"We are at a point where we are going to compete for a trophy, I feel that there is no better way to end my career," he also added, still the biggest figure in Canadian football for the past 20 years.
With 104 internationals and nine goals scored by Canada, Hutchinson retires as the country's most international player of all time, in addition to 717 games and 68 goals in his club career.
