U18 Premier League: Blackburn Rovers defeat Derby County at

Blackburn Rovers triumphed over Derby County, 4-1, on Saturday, on matchweek 19. To this matchday, Ryan Kidd's team came from a defeat, and Daniel Maye's team came from two wins.

The first half came to an end without goals.

In an unfortunate moment Owen Eames scored an own goal after 50 minutes. In the 59th minute, Adisa Osayande struck for Derby County. After 60 minutes, Joe Boggan fired home Blackburn Rovers second goal. With 65 minutes on the clock, Ryan Kidd's team increased their lead with a goal from Rhys Doherty. In a very unlucky moment, Marley Mintus scored an own-goal in the final minutes of the game.

After the result Derby County are 4th in the table, with 27 points, while Blackburn Rovers sit 11th place, with 15 points. Next up, Ryan Kidd's team will play away against Manchester United, whilst Daniel Maye's team will host Nottingham Forest.
