Spoils shared between NS Mura and Maribor

NS Mura and Maribor drew 2x2 in a match on Sunday, in a game relating to matchweek 29. Both Ante Šimundža's team and Darko Milanič's team held their first game in the competition. Rok Sirk made a great performance with 2 goals.

In an unfortunate moment Aleksandar Bošković scored an own goal in the 20th minute. After 35 minutes, Rok Sirk fired home for NS Mura, from the penalty spot.

With 49 minutes on the clock, Blaž Vrhovec scored the second goal for Maribor. Rok Sirk netted the last goal with 58 minutes on the clock. After 85 minutes, Darko Milanič's team saw Aleks Pihler get sent off due to accumulation of yellows. In the final minutes of the game, Dare Vršič left his team with 10-man, after seeing a direct red card.

After the result Maribor are 1st in the table, with 67 points, while NS Mura sit 4th place, with 40 points. In their next fixture, Ante Šimundža's team visit Domzale. Meanwhile, Darko Milanič's team will host NK Aluminij.
